The conference will take place on the 11th and 12th of August 2025 at the Nucleus auditorium at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Aarhus University. The program can be found here.

Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MBG) at Aarhus University is located at Universitetsbyen 81, 8000 Aarhus. The Nucleus auditorium is located on the ground floor of the department - details on the location and facilities can be found here. MBG is easily accessed by public transport - by bus and light rail. From the central train station (hovedbanegården), there are two options - take the letbane line L2 to Aarhus Universitet (Ringgaden), and walk about 300m to the venue OR take bus 12 or 15, and disembark at Aarhus Universitet (Ringgaden)(bus 12) or Peter Sabroes Gade (bus 15), which are 2-5 minutes walk from the venue. From the airport, taxis are your only option.

Talks: Each session is scheduled for 1.5 hours and features 5 talks - 1 keynote talk and 4 contributed talks selected from abstracts. Keynote talks are scheduled for 25 minutes (20 minutes presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A), while contributed talks (selected from submitted abstracts) are scheduled for 15 minutes (12 minutes presenation + 3 minutes for Q&A).

Information for speakers: To avoid technical difficulties and ensure smooth operations, the preferred format for oral presentations is PDF. If you cannot provide a pdf file, please contact the organizers well in advance to ensure that there are no compatability issues. Please ensure that the organizers have a copy of your talk the night before you are scheduled to present. Please send a copy of your presentation to epicdkconference@gmail.com with the subject "Slides - Session X" where X is the session number for your talk. NOTE: Technical challenges with the setup at the auditorium prevent the use of your own computer to present.

Posters: Poster boards will be provided for poster presenters, and will be located close to the auditorium. The maximum size of a poster that the poster boards can accommodate is A0 (841mm x 1189 mm). Please ensure that your posters are mounted on the boards before the start of the poster session (17.00 on August 11th) and removed before the end of the conference (17.00 on August 12th).
